Borussia Mönchengladbach coach Marco Rose has hailed Yann Sommer as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe.
Rose feels 'Die Fohlen' are really lucky to have the Swiss international between the sticks.
"Yann is one of the best goalkeepers in Europe. I'm happy to have him in goal," the Gladbach coach told reporters at the pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's Bundesliga clash with RB Leipzig, according to Kicker.
"He's also important for our team structure as a person. Yann works hard every day to stay at the same level or even push further forward in some areas. He's an absolute role model. We are happy that he recently extended his contract," he added.
Sommer, 31, signed a new contract in November, extending his deal until 2023.
