Report: Leverkusen to make €18 million swoop for centre-back, Retsos to go out on loan

Bayer Leverkusen are set to complete the signing of Edmond Tapsoba from Vitoria Guimaraes while Panagiotis Retsos is expected to leave BayArena for a loan move to Sheffield United.
Bayer Leverkusen have agreed a deal to bring in Edmond Tapsoba from Vitoria Guimares, according to Bild.

Meanwhile, Panagiotis Retsos is set to leave Leverkusen to join Sheffield United on loan until the end of the season, as per the report, which claims the defender flew to England on Thursday evening.

Leverkusen will pay a transfer fee of €18 million plus €2 million in add-ons to secure the signing of Tapsoba, 20.

The centre-back has made 32 appearances for Vitoria Guimares this season, racking up eight goals and two assists.
