Reports: Emre Can's Dortmund move hits snag over wage demands

Borussia Dortmund's talks with Emre Can have reportedly hit a snag over the midfielder's wage demands.
Borussia Dortmund's negotiations with Juventus midfielder Emre Can have hit a stumbling block, according to Bild and Kicker.

While Dortmund are understood to have agreed a deal with Juventus, negotiations with the 26-year-old and his agent, Reza Fazeli, are still underway.

The parties will return to the negotiating table on Friday after they were unable to come to an agreement yesterday.

So far, Dortmund haven't been willing to meet the wage demands of Can. According to Bild, BVB have offered the midfielder an annual salary of €8.5 million.

When asked about Can on Thursday, Dortmund boss Michael Zorc confirmed negotiations are ongoing, but said there was 'no final decision yet'.

"It's no secret that's something we're working on. There's no final decision yet. There may still be one or two things happening, but it's also possible that nothing more happens," he said at a press conference.

Update: Emre Can is now said to be on his way to Dortmund for his medical after the parties have come to an agreement.
