Robin Koch considered unlikely to join RB Leipzig in January move

Robin Koch will probably be staying at Freiburg amid interest from RB Leipzig - for now at least.
RB Leipzig are unlikely to succeed in signing Robin Koch from Freiburg before the January transfer window closes, according to Bild.

Freiburg coach Christian Streich has reportedly vetoed a possible exit for the 23-year-old.

At the same time, RB Leipzig haven't been willing to meet Freiburg's asking price of €20 million for Koch. Apparently, 'Die Roten Bullen' would be prepared to pay €15 million for the German international.

If Leipzig don't manage to bring in Koch, Stefan Ilsanker probably won't be allowed to leave the club to join Frankfurt as they won't let the 30-year-old go unless a suitable replacement comes in.
