Report: Werder Bremen agree deal to sign Davie Selke from Hertha
David Selke is set to return to Bremen before the January transfer window closes.
Werder Bremen have agreed a deal to bring in David Selke from Hertha BSC, according to Sky Germany.
Selke, who has also been linked with clubs from England, is set to complete a €10 million move back to Weserstadion, where he will be given a contract until 2024, as per Sky.
Meanwhile, both Kicker and Bild are reporting that the striker will join Werder on a loan deal until the summer of 2021, at which point the move will be made permanent for a fee between €12 and 15 million.
The striker came through the youth ranks at Werder and went on to score 10 goals in 36 appearances before joining RB Leipzig in 2015. He has played for Hertha since 2017.
Meanwhile, Salomon Kalou should also leave Hertha before the transfer window closes. The 34-year-old has attracted interest from West Ham and a number of clubs from the United States.
