Beierlorzer: 'We need to take the momentum from the last 60 minutes into the next game'

Here's what Mainz coach Achim Beierlorzer said after Saturday's loss to Bayern München.
Mainz coach Achim Beierlorzer wasn't satisfied with the first 30 minutes of today's clash with Bayern München, but was pleased to see his team get a better grip of the game as the first half progressed.

Beierlorzer's side found themselves 0-3 down after 26 minutes, but then managed to pull one back to make it 1-3 and shut the Bavarians out for the rest of the game.

"I was fairly pleased for an hour and not pleased for the first 30 minutes," Beierlorzer said, as quoted by the club.

"I liked the high pressing performance, and that we didn't let our spirits drop. We need to take the momentum from the last 60 minutes into the next game," he continued.
