Manchester United made an offer for Bayern München midfielder Corentin Tolisso in January, according to Kicker.

The report claims that 'The Red Devils' wanted to bring in Tolisso on loan, but the Bayern bosses weren't willing to let the central midfielder go as they believed his departure would have left the squad too thin.

Tolisso has been linked with a summer exit after making just six starts in the Bundesliga this season.

The 25-year-old, who joined Bayern from Olympique Lyon in a €41.5 million deal back in 2017, is under contract until 2022.
