Hansi Flick confirms Manuel Neuer is fit to face FC Köln

Bayern München coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that Manuel Neuer is ready to face FC Köln this weekend.
Manuel Neuer has been passed fit for Bayern München's Bundesliga clash with FC Köln on Sunday.

The Bayern captain was back in training on Friday after overcoming a stomach bug which kept him sidelined on Thursday.

"Manuel Neuer took past in training today as normal. Other than Javi Martinez and Niklas Süle, we have everyone available. David Alaba was rested today due to a muscular issue, but should be back tomorrow," said Bayern coach Hansi Flick at a press conference today, as quoted by the club.

Flick also said that Lucas Hernandez and Kingsley Coman, who came on as substitutes against RB Leipzig last week, are both making good progress after returning from injury.

"We're happy that things have gone so quickly with them both and that they are doing well in training. We don't know yet if they'll manage 90 minutes. The aim is to have everyone at 100% in time for the Champions League," he said.

Bayern face Chelsea in the Champions League away from home on February 25 in the first round of 16 clash between the two clubs.
