Erling Haaland, Borussia Dortmund:
"I am glad about the man of the match award, but feel like I still can do a lot better. I have to play better at this level, have to work hard to improve. The result is quite a dangerous one, as Paris has a very strong team and can still go through in the return leg" (UEFA.com).

Lucien Favre, Borussia Dortmund coach:
"Paris had one big chance, and they scored. That was a mistake from us. Erling Haaland always wants to score goals. You see that in training and during games. Scoring two goals against Paris is surely something" (DAZN).

"Emre Can put in a good performance, as did the entire team. We were very disciplined, in defence as well. We had better chances in the first half and scored our goals after the break. We have to remain positive despite conceding an unnecessary goal between our two goals. It was important how the team reacted after the equaliser, they were going forward and aiming for that second goal" (UEFA.com).

Emre Can, Borussia Dortmund:
"It was a very, very good game from everyone. We defended extremely well.

"It's only half-time now. We still have another game in Paris which will be extremely difficult, just like tonight's game was. They have world-class players. But if we defend together once again, we can do it" (DAZN).

Lukasz Piszczek, Borussia Dortmund:
"It was a fantastic win! We know it won't be easy in Paris, but it's a good starting point. Above all, I'm proud of what our fans have done again today" (Borussia Dortmund, Twitter).

Hans-Joachim Watzke, Borussia Dortmund CEO, on Erling Haaland:
"Wow! Erling is a force of nature. He has incredible fun and incredible will. He's a real goal-getter. We're happy to have him here" (Sky).

Thomas Tuchel, Paris Saint-Germain coach, on Erling Haaland:
"He is very present physically, he is quick and is always drawn towards goal. I think we defended him well for most of the time" (UEFA.com).

Marquinhos, Paris Saint-Germain:
"We dominated possession in the first half. We weren't intense enough with or without the ball. We did a lot of things badly. They tried to pounce on our mistakes. They made the most with a very strong forward, but the goal we got is important for the second leg (UEFA.com).
