Bayern München CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has hailed the impact Hansi Flick has had since taking over as coach from Niko Kovac in November.
Rummenigge is pleased that Bayern once again have a clear tactical identity, just as he believes the club had under former coaches Louis van Gaal, Jupp Heynckes and Pep Guardiola.
"An important step is that FC Bayern's philosophy has come back into the team under Hansi Flick," Rummenigge told Kicker and continued:
"He has a clear match plan. The team is tactically oriented in the same way as it was under Louis van Gaal, Jupp Heynckes or Pep Guardiola. Flick is an important factor. He has an empathic connection to the team and does a good job publicly as well."
Flick has been told that he will stay on as coach until the summer at least, with talks over a possible contract extension expected to take place in May.
