Rummenigge on Coutinho: 'Sometimes he gives the impression that he's inhibited'

Everyone at Bayern München is doing what they can to help Philippe Coutinho to rediscover his top level, says club boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Bayern München CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge feels something seems to be holding Philippe Coutinho back from performing at his top level.

The Barcelona loanee has struggled to make an impact recently, and Rummenigge says that everyone at the club is trying to help him to bring his best performances to the pitch.

"He has played well in some games. Sometimes he gives the impression that he's inhibited," Rummenigge told Bild and added:

"Everyone tries to support him. We must hope that he will become an important factor in the decisive weeks to come."

Coutinho has made 28 appearances for Bayern this season, racking up seven goals and eight assists.
