Schalke captain ruled out for the rest of the season
Omar Mascarell has suffered a season-ending injury, Schalke 04 coach David Wagner has announced.
Schalke 04 will have to manage without Omar Mascarell for the rest of the season.
The Schalke captain wasn't part of Schalkes squad for Saturday's 3-0 loss to FC Köln after picking up an adductor injury in training.
And speaking after the game, Schalke coach David Wagner told Sky that the midfielder's season is over.
Schalke were rocked by another injury blow on Saturday as Ozan Kabak was forced off in the first half.
