Jonas Hofmann: Dortmund are favorites

Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Jonas Hofmann sees Borussia Dortmund as favorites for Saturday's Bundesliga game between the two sides.
Jonas Hofmann and Borussia Mönchengladbach haven't lost a game at home since they were beaten 1-3 by RB Leipzig in August, but the midfielder still believes Borussia Dortmund should be seen as favorites for Saturday's Bundesliga clash at Borussia-Park.

"I think BVB are favorites even though we play at home and have been unbeaten there for a long time," Hofmann told Sky.

"First and foremost, it will be a very explosive duel. It will be a meeting of two strong teams who both really want to play football, and who both want to take the three points at all costs. That's why I'm very excited and hope that we can finally beat BVB again," the former Borussia Dortmund player said.

Hofmann and Gladbach sit fourth in the Bundesliga table ahead of Saturday's game, two points behind third-placed Dortmund, but with a game in hand.
