Report: Bayern yet to approach Thomas Müller about a new deal

Thomas Müller hasn't been approached about a new deal at Bayern München yet, according to Bild, who claims he feels 'a lack of appreciation' because the club have already opened talks with Manuel Neuer.
Bayern München are yet to begin negotiations with Thomas Müller over a new deal beyond 2021 yet, according to Bild.

The Bayern bosses are planning to hold contract talks with a number of players – including Müller – after the club's Champions League round of 16 second leg game next week.

David Alaba, who is also under contract until 2021, recently said that he's waiting for the club to approach him about a contract extension, so he's in a similar situation to Müller.

However, apparently, Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has already opened contract talks with the management of Manuel Neuer.

According to Bild, Müller feels 'a lack of appreciation' over the fact that Bayern have opened talks with the 33-year-old before even approaching him about a new contract.

Should Müller decide to leave Bayern at the end of the season, England and Italy are considered the most likely destinations.
