Robin Zentner to miss the rest of the season
Mainz have suffered an injury blow as Robin Zentner has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Mainz will have to manage without Robin Zentner for the rest of the season, the club have announced.
The goalkeeper had to be substituted after he ruptured his posterior cruciate ligament in Mainz's 1-1 draw with Fortuna Düsseldorf on Sunday.
Zentner, 25, started out the season as a reserve, but has been Mainz's preferred goalkeeper since September.
Florian Müller, who replaced Zentner on Sunday, is expected to be in goal for the rest of the season.
