Bruno Labbadia to take over as Hertha coach in the summer?

Bruno Labbadia is seen as the main candidate to take over the position as coach of Hertha BSC in the summer.
Hertha BSC have made contact with Bruno Labbadia in their search for a new coach, according to a report from Sport Bild.

Alexander Nouri was put in charge after Jürgen Klinsmann resigned as coach in February, but the 40-year-old is considered unlikely to stay beyond the season.

Labbadia, who parted ways with Wolfsburg at the end of the 2018/19 season, is understood to be interested and currently looks like the most likely candidate for the job.

The only real alternative seems to be Niko Kovac. The former Bayern München coach has previously rejected interest from Hertha, but the German capital club haven't given up on the 48-year-old yet. However, according to Sport Bild, Kovac is aiming for a job at a bigger club.
