Hansi Flick: Kai Havertz has developed extremely well
Bayern München coach Hansi Flick is impressed with the development of Kai Havertz.
Bayern München coach Hansi Flick has spoken highly of Bayer Leverkusen starlet Kai Havertz in an interview with Sport Bild.
Flick first became acquainted with Havertz, who has been linked with a move to Bayern, when the youngster represented Germany at the U17 Euros in 2016.
"I accompanied the U17 national team to the European Championship in Azerbaijan [in 2016]. Kai was in the team," said Flick, who worked as a sporting director for the German national team back then.
"With him, you just have to say that he has developed extremely well, he scores goals and is very dominant. In particular, he can make a difference in the final third," the Bayern coach added.
Havertz, 20, is said to be on Bayern's list of transfer targets for the summer of 2020.
