Robert Lewandowski is on track to make his return from injury when Bayern München face Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park on April 4, according to Kicker.

The Bayern München striker is making progress in his recovery from a shinbone injury and should be back in running training next week.

Having already missed three games due to injury, Lewandowski is expected to be unavailable for the rest of his club's fixtures this month against Union Berlin, Chelsea and Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 31-year-old has been in excellent form this season, scoring 39 goals in 33 appearances.
