RB Leipzig have identified a number of candidates, who could replace Timo Werner should he leave the club, says the club's sporting director Markus Krösche.

'Die Roten Bullen' will have to fight to keep the 24-year-old, who is said to prefer a move to Liverpool, with Manchester United and Chelsea both understood to be interested as well.

But Krösche insists he isn't worried about potentially having to let go of Werner, who will be available for around €60 million in the summer thanks to a release clause.

"It's quite normal that Timo attracts interest from other clubs. But that isn't causing me any sleepless nights. We are prepared and have alternatives in mind," Krösche told Sport Bild.

According to Sport Bild, RB Leipzig see Adam Hložek (Sparta Praha, 17 years old), Kaio Jorge (Santos FC, 18 years old) and Mohamed Daramy (FC Copenhagen, 18 years old) as possible replacements for Werner.

The German media outlet believes that Hložek would cost at least 18 million, Kaio Jorge has a price tag of around €20 million while Leipzig would have to pay about €15-17 million for Daramy.
