Leverkusen boss Simon Rolfes confirms contract talks with Charles Aranguiz
It seems like Charles Aranguiz is leaning towards signing a new contract with Bayer Leverkusen.
The Bayer Leverkusen bosses have made it clear a number of times that they would like to keep Charles Aranguiz beyond the summer when his contract runs out.
And according to Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes, the 30-year-old appears to be interested in a contract extension as well.
"We are in good talks. Unfortunately, these have been interrupted by the corona situation. But the signals from 'Charly' are positive," Rolfes told Bild.
Aranguiz has made 27 appearances for Leverkusen this season, racking up three goals and six assists.
