Dani Olmo says he hasn't played as much for RB Leipzig as he thought he would following his January move from Dinamo Zagreb.

But the 21-year-old is confident that he will gradually be handed more playing time.

"To be honest, I've played less than I expected," Dani Olmo said in an interview with AS and added:

"But I chose the club and the league I thought was best for me, a project and a young team, where I can get minutes on the pitch, work and fight to go to the European Championship.

"I know I've just arrived and I'm being asked to be patient, but I'm never going to excuse myself during the adaptation period. I feel capable, and I'll get more minutes, I'm sure of that," the Spanish youngster said.

Olmo has played five games for RB Leipzig so far with a goal and an assist to his name.
