Loris Karius linked with Hertha move

Loris Karius has reportedly attracted interest from Hertha BSC.
Hertha BSC are looking into the possibility of signing Loris Karius, according to Sport1.

The German capital club are looking for a new first-choice goalkeeper to succeed the aging Rune Jarstein, 35, who has lot his spot in the starting eleven to Thomas Kraft in the second half of the season.

Kraft, 31, is out of contract at the end of the season, and Hertha aren't planning to offer him a new deal, according to reports.

Hertha boss Michael Preetz already wanted Karius back in 2015 when he was still playing for Mainz, but the 26-year-old ended up joining Liverpool in 2016.

Now, Hertha have apparently reignited their interest in the 26-year-old, whose two-year loan deal with Besiktas will expire this summer.

Karius' contract with Liverpool expires in 2021.
