Trapp to return to Frankfurt?

Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly considering bringing back Kevin Trapp on loan.
Three years ago, Kevin Trapp joined Paris Saint-Germain from Eintracht Frankfurt. After initially being the club's first-choice goalkeeper, he fell behind Alphonse Areola in the pecking order last season, and his chances of playing this season may be even more limited after PSG's signing of Gianluigi Buffon.

In the search for playing time, Trapp could return to Frankfurt. According to Wiesbadener Kurier, 'Die Adler' are currently considering approaching PSG to bring the 28-year-old back on loan.

Eintracht Frankfurt have signed Frederik Rønnow from Danish side Brøndby IF as a replacement for Lukas Hradecky, who has joined Bayer Leverkusen, but Rønnow injured his knee during his first training session.

Rønnow's injury doesn't look too serious, and Frankfurt reportedly only want to approach PSG concerning Trapp if there is doubt that the Danish keeper won't be ready for the start of the new season - and preferably already for the Super Cup match verus Bayern München on August 12.

Kevin Trapp was limited to just four Ligue 1 appearances for PSG last season.
