Bayern München coach Hansi Flick has signed a contract extension, the club have announced.
Flick's deal was due to run out at the end of the season, but he has now put pen to paper on a new deal until 2023.
"The club is very happy with Hansi Flick's work. The team has developed under his leadership and we're playing attractive football, which is reflected in the results," said Bayern München CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in a statement.
Bayern München sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said:
"Hansi and I know in which direction we want to take the team's development. There are tough challenges ahead in the world of football; we believe that Hansi is the right head coach for them."
Flick succeeded Niko Kovac as Bayern coach in November 2019.
