Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gündogan has hailed Robert Lewandowski as the best striker in the world at the moment.
Gündogan, who spent three seasons together with Lewandowski at Borussia Dortmund before the striker moved on to Bayern München in 2014, told DAZN via Goal.com:
"It was a huge joy to play with him. He has improved again and again. Technically he was always great, now he also has that cool head. The way he scored the goals is phenomenal. For me, he is the best and most complete striker in the world at the moment."
Gündogan stayed at Dortmund until 2016, when he made the move to Manchester City.
