"Normally, transfers are possible from July 1, but if the leagues haven't been completed by then, we could be faced with an extension of the transfer deadline," says BVB boss Sebastian Kehl.

Borussia Dortmund boss Sebastian Kehl expects the summer transfer window deadline to be extended due to the coronavirus pandemic, which has put all football on standby for the time being.
"I firmly believe that the transfer window will be postponed beyond the 31 August deadline," Kehl, Head of the Licensing Player Department at Borussia Dortmund, told Kicker.
"Normally, transfers are possible from July 1, but if the leagues haven't been completed by then, we could be faced with an extension of the transfer deadline," he added.
Former Bayern München president Uli Hoeness recently suggested that the ongoing crisis will lead to 'a new football world', in which transfer fees and wages will drop considerably.
Kehl, however, is "sceptical" that the crisis will have that big of an impact on the football world in the long run.
"The crisis will have a significant impact on the market this summer. But I have my doubts as to whether the impact will last for a long time," he said.
