Marko Grujic: 'Everything is still open'

Marko Grujic says "everything is still open" with regard to his future.
Marko Grujic says he's yet to decide what will happen in the summer, when his loan deal with Hertha BSC is over.

The central midfielder, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Hertha from Liverpool, told Athletic:

"I need to think and I need to be clever about what happens next. Is the best thing to stay in Liverpool and wait for a chance or is it time to have another loan or move to another club?

"At the moment, I don't know the answer. Everything is still open.

"The Bundesliga is a good league and over the past two years I've gained a lot of important experience and I feel like I've improved as a player," Grujic said.

The 23-year-old has made 22 appearances for Hertha this season with three goals and two assists to his name.
