Julian Nagelsmann wants improvement from Hannes Wolf: 'He needs to be more calm'

Hannes Wolf needs to be more calm on the ball if he wants more playing time, says RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann.
Since Hannes Wolf returned to training in November after a long injury spell, he has been limited to just 22 minutes of football in an RB Leipzig shirt.

And the 21-year-old will have to improve in some areas if he wants to play more regularly, says RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann.

"He needs to be more calm when he's in possession. He needs to take the positive rush and stress, which he builds up, a bit out of his game when he's on the ball in order to become more stable," Nagelsmann told Kicker and continued:

"If he takes this to heart, he will get playing time and be able to assert himself in the near future."

Wolf wanted to go out on loan in January, and that didn't go down well with Nagelsmann, who told Kicker that "these days, it seems like every player who isn't playing regularly wants to leave immediately."

But if the 21-year-old doesn't see his playing time increase, there is a real chance that he could be sent out on loan ahead of the 2020/21 season.
