Roman Bürki reportedly set to sign a new deal with Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund have reportedly agreed on a contract extension with Roman Bürki.
Roman Bürki is on the verge of signing a new deal contract with Borussia Dortmund, according to Bild.
The 29-year-old's current deal runs until 2021, but he's now ready to sign an extension until 2024, as per the German media outlet, who expects an official announcement on the matter in the coming days.
Bürki provided an update on his contract talks with Dortmund earlier this month, telling DPA:
"It's not a question of money. We have been negotiating to try to find out what's possible."
The goalkeeper joined Dortmund from Freiburg in a €3.5 million deal back in 2015. Since then, he has gone on to make 199 appearances for BVB.
