David Alaba has turned down a move to Manchester City, according to a report from Fussballtransfers.

This doesn't necessarily mean that the Austrian international will be signing a contract extension with Bayern, though.

According to the report, Alaba is still flirting with a move to Spain, where FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are said to be interested.

Bayern would like to extend Alaba's deal, which runs until 2021, but should that prove impossible, the club will most likely cash in on the 27-year-old this summer.
