Racing Strasbourg's Mohamed Simakan has reportedly attracted interest from the Bundesliga.

According to Sky, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are keeping a close eye on the 19-year-old.

BVB were planning to send representatives to France to take a closer look at the centre-back prior to the coronavirus outbreak, as per the report.

Meanwhile, RB Leipzig are understood to have held initial talks over a move for Simakan. Apparently, 'Die Roten Bullen' see the 19-year-old as a possible replacement for Dayot Upamecano, who is being linked with a summer move.

According to Sky, Strasbourg want around €20 million for Simakan. It's quite possible, however, that the price will drop considerably due to the corona situation.

The 19-year-old has also been linked with AC Milan, who reportedly remain interested after submitting an offer for him in January.
