Patrik Schick 'could definitely imagine staying' at RB Leipzig

Patrik Schick says he's keen on moving to Leipzig permanently.
Patrik Schick has expressed interest in joining RB Leipzig on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

The striker, who is on loan from AS Roma until the summer, told Kicker:

"I can definitely imagine staying. The club's must find a solution now, and I'll be delighted if they are able to do so."

RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche recently said that he would like to keep the 24-year-old at the club. He also hinted that the price could be negotiated down due to the corona crisis.

"At the moment, the option hasn't changed. But maybe it will in the next few weeks. All clubs have to deal with the crisis," Krösche told DPA last week.

Schick has seven goals and three assists in 19 games for RB Leipzig.
