Marcus Thuram on his partnership with Alassane Pléa: 'We think very alike'
Marcus Thuram has explained why he enjoys playing alongside Alassane Pléa.
Marcus Thuram has reflected on his excellent partnership with Alassane Pléa at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
In an interview with Sport Bild, the 22-year-old says that he gets on well with his French compatriot – on as well as off the pitch.
"Alassane is a bit older than me and has more experience. But we still laugh about many things together. We're both jokers and get along really well on the pitch. What's valuable to us is that we think very alike when it comes to football," Thuram said.
Thuram and Plea have 18 goals and 17 assists between them this season.
