Bayern president Herbert Hainer 'confident' that Neuer, Alaba and Thiago will sign new deals

Manuel Neuer, David Alaba and Thiago Alcantara are all expected to agree new contracts in the foreseeable future, says Bayern chief Herbert Hainer.
Bayern München president Herbert Hainer remains confident that Manuel Neuer, David Alaba and Thiago Alcantara will sign new deals at the club.

"I am confident that we will be able to extend their contracts in the foreseeable future," Hainer told Kicker about the three Bayern stars, who are all of contract in 2021.

"There is no pressure, but of course we want clarity for the club and the players as soon as possible.

"Why should they leave? They play for one of the best teams in the world and for one of the best, if not the best, managed club in the world," Hainer said.

Last month, Bayern announced new deals for head coach Hansi Flick, Thomas Müller and Alphonso Davies.
