10 people test positive for coronavirus at Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga clubs

The German Football Association has revealed the results of the first round of coronavirus tests conducted at Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga clubs.

The appropriate measures, such as isolation of the affected persons, were taken immediately by the respective clubs in accordance with the specifications of the local health authorities.
Since Thursday, a total of 1,724 corona tests have been carried out at the 36 clubs in the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga, and a second wave of tests has already started.
FC Köln announced on Friday that three people tested positive for coronavirus at the club. The second round of tests on Sunday showed no further infections.
German chancellor Angela Merkel could announce a decision on the potential return of football on Wednesday.
