Daniel Caligiuri: 'There have been several inquiries'
Schalke 04's Daniel Caligiuri claims he has received 'several inquiries' from other clubs.
Daniel Caligiuri reveals he has been approached by other clubs about a potential move away from Schalke 04.
The 32-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and it's still unclear if he will be staying at Schalke 04 or moving somewhere else.
"I think a decision will be made in the coming weeks," Caligiuri told ruhr24.de and added:
"There have been several inquiries.
"I have been talking about my contract situation more often recently. I still feel very comfortable here with my wife. Before the corona crisis, we were on a good path. Now I'll let everything come to me and then I'll decide."
According to Kicker, the versatile 32-year-old would prefer to stay at Schalke 04 despite the interest from other clubs.
Caligiuri joined Schalke from Wolfsburg in January 2017. Since then, he has gone on to score 20 goals and make 24 assists in 122 appearances for 'The Royal Blues'.
