In a recent interview, the Polish international was asked to pick his top five out-and-out strikers at the moment.
"A difficult question. If we talk about [the number] nine, I would say: Karim Benzema, Timo Werner, Luis Suarez, Sergio Aguero and Kylian Mbappe," he told reporters, according to Goal.com.
The 31-year-old also found advice for fellow Bundesliga striker Erling Haaland, who is being linked with Real Madrid after taking Germany's top flight by storm following his move to Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg in January.
"He has huge potential, but still has time. I don't want to put any pressure on him with my statements," Lewandowski said and continued:
"If he works hard, he can become a better player and eventually reach the top level. Therefore it might be good for him if he would stay in the Bundesliga longer before taking the next step."
