Kevin Kampl left to rue missed chances after RB Leipzig's 1-1 draw with Freiburg

Kevin Kampl bemoaned RB Leipzig's lack of efficiency in their 1-1 draw with Freiburg.
RB Leipzig midfielder Kevin Kampl was left to rue missed chances after his side's 1-1 draw with Freiburg on Saturday.

'Die Roten Bullen' dominated possession and created a number of big chances, but had to settle for a draw, much to the frustration of Kampl.

"We were through on goal five times, and had enough chances for two matches. Converting chances aside, we played well against a Freiburg side that defended deep," he said after the game.

"We want to finish as high as possible, and there are enough games left to get a lot of points," added Kampl, who returned to action with a start following a long-term injury.

"My injury is fully healed. The fact that I got a chance today made me really happy," the midfielder said.
