FC Barcelona have completed the €30 million signing of Bayern München midfielder Arturo Vidal who has passed his medical after he was given permission to leave by Bayern coach Niko Kovac (The Guardian).

Manchester United have offered Anthony Martial to Bayern München in exchange for Jerome Boateng (Bild, Daily Mirror).

Mainz have agreed a €12 million deal for Espanyol left-back Aaron Caricol (Ara).

Hertha BSC coach Pal Dardai says he can accept if Marvin Plattenhardt leaves the club. "Well, I like to work with Marvin, but if he leaves, I think all sides would be happy," he said (Bild).

Schalke 04 coach Domenico Tedesco is close to extending his contract. The 32-year-old is set to put pen to a deal that runs until at least 2021 (Kicker).

Meanwhile, Schalke 04 are interested in Hamburger SV's Douglas Santos. HSV want €25 million for him, but Schalke are hoping for a loan deal with an option to buy (Bild).

VfL Wolfsburg are ready to table an €8 million bid for Hamburger SV winger Filip Kostic (Bild).

Eintracht Frankfurt defender David Abraham says he wants to return to Argentina at the end of his career. The 32-year-old has a contract with Frankfurt until 2021 (Kicker).

Scouts from Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen were spotted in the stands at the Brazilian cup match between Gremio and Flamengo on Wednesday evening. Apparently, the two Bundesliga sides - along with Manchester City - were keeping an eye on 22-year-old Everton Soares who plays for Gremio (Globo Esporte).
