Denis Zakaria is set to remain at Borussia Mönchengladbach beyond the summer, according to Sport Bild.
The report claims that the midfielder will not be leaving the club at the end of the season amid reported interest from Manchester United and Liverpool.
Gladbach bosses Max Eberl and Marco Rose are hoping that Zakaria can help taking the club taking the club to the next level and have told the Swiss international how important he is for their plans.
The 23-year-old has previously said that he's enjoying playing under Gladbach coach Marco Rose.
Zakaria is currently sidelined with a knee injury and could still play for 'Die Fohlen' this season if his recovery goes well.
His contract runs until 2022 and doesn't include a release clause.
