Report: Martial offered in exchange for Boateng
Manchester United reportedly want to exchange Anthony Martial for Bayern München centre-back Jerome Boateng.
Bayern München defender Jerome Boateng has been heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain lately, but Manchester United are also interested in the German international, Bild understands.
According to the report, Manchester United have offered Anthony Martial to Bayern in exchange for Boateng.
Manchester United manager José Mourinho is desperately looking for a central defender, and Boateng is said to be on top of his wishlist. Meanwhile, Martial has fallen out of favor at the Old Trafford under Mourinho.
Martial's market value is considered to be €65 million which is about €10 million more than Bayern expect to get out of a potential Boateng sale.
Boateng's contract with Bayern runs until 2021 while Martial is under contract at Manchester United until 2019.
