Daniel Caligiuri: 'We must not lose our heads'
"We simply have to look ahead with positivity," says Schalke midfielder Daniel Caligiuri.
Daniel Caligiuri believes Schalke 04 must stay positive to get out of their current slump.
'The Royal Blues' extended their winless run to nine games in the league, when they lost 0-3 at home to Augsburg on Sunday.
Speaking to Sky after the game, Caligiuri urged his teammates to quickly move on from the defeat and focus on Wednesday's away encounter with Fortuna Düsseldorf.
"We must not lose our heads in the next games. We know that things aren't going so well for us right now in terms of results, but we simply have to look ahead with positivity," Caligiuri said and added:
"We have to work on our mistakes, so that we play like we did in the first half of the season. Things went wrong today. It's about taking one step at the time, and we've now got our full focus on winning the game in Düsseldorf."
