Mats Hummels was forced off with an Achilles tendon problem in Saturday's 2-0 win over Wolfsburg, but should be 'okay' to play, said Favre, who also revealed that Axel Witsel could return to the squad following a spell on the sidelines.
"We'll have to wait and see with Mats, but I'm 99 percent sure that he will be okay. Axel Witsel started training with the team again yesterday. He could be in the squad," the BVB coach said at the pre-match press conference.
Meanwhile, Emre Can and Jadon Sancho will be pushing to start after coming on in the second half against Wolfsburg.
"Emre Can has 45 minutes in his legs, so that's good. After suffering a setback, Jadon Sancho has been in team training for 10 days. He's slowly getting back to his top form. We'll see," Favre said.
The game will kick off at Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday at 18.30 CET.
