Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Favre has officially made Marco Reus the captain of the club - a responsibility that makes the 29-year-old immensely proud.
"It's an honor, and of course it makes me proud to represent both the team and the club. It's an exciting task," Reus told Bild.
Favre says that it was a 'logical decision' because of Reus' background and experience.
"It's a very logical decision. He's a role model, has a lot of experience and has been in Dortmund for a long time," Favre says.
Reus, who has played for Dortmund since 2012, takes over the responsibility from Marcel Schmelzer.
