Former Bayern München president Uli Hoeness doesn't believe that Kai Havertz will be joining the German champions from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
The German international has been linked with a switch to Bayern for a while, but Hoeness can't see him arriving at Allianz Arena at the moment.
"I would like to see him in Munich from a sporting perspective, but as things stand today, I honestly can't imagine that he will come," Hoeness told BR.
Manchester City's Leroy Sané, on the other hand, would be welcomed with open arms by Hoeness, who also said he's hoping that David Alaba and Thiago Alcantara will sign new contracts beyond 2021.
"I believe that we are on a threshold of a new, great generation. With Joshua Kimmich, Niklas Süle and hopefully David Alaba, Thiago and also Leroy Sané, we have a young team with a lot of potential. I can well imagine that, if everything goes well, a new era is about to begin at Bayern München," the former Bayern chief said.
