Julian Nagelsmann eyes reinforcements: 'I have already spoken to the sporting director'

RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann wants to bring in reinforcements that can help his team become more vocal on the pitch.
RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann has urged his players to improve their communication during games.

Speaking after Leipzig's 4-2 win over FC Köln on Monday, Nagelsmann said he eyes reinforcements in the summer as he believes his team need players that are more vocal on the pitch.

"I have already spoken to the sporting director. Let's see what the market has to offer," he told reporters.

For Nagelsmann, Bayern München is a benchmark when it comes to communication on the pitch.

"You can always hear Thomas Müller in particular, but many others as well," the RB Leipzig coach said.

Monday's win saw Nagelsmann and RB Leipzig climb above Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Mönchengladbach into third.
