Freiburg goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow has addressed speculation linking him with a summer transfer.

According to reports, Benfica and Ajax are among the clubs monitoring the 28-year-old, but he's not looking to leave Freiburg at all costs.

"In general, it's good to be in demand, but I'm taking it all calmly. I have no reason worry about it. I feel very comfortable at SC and would only leave if I get an offer that totally suits me," Schwolow told DPA.

Freiburg coach Christian Streich revealed last week that the club are looking for potential candidates to replace Schwolow in case he should leave.

"We have started taking a look around, because something like that can happen very quickly," Streich said.

Kicker has claimed that Schwolow has an €8 million release clause in his contract, which expires in 2022.
