RB Leipzig will take three injured players home from the club's training camp in Seefeld.
Konrad Laimer (strain), Dayot Upamecano (tibia) and Nordi Mukiele (muscle injury) have all sustained injuries - and according to RB Leipzig coach and sporting director Ralf Rangnick, it's not a conincidence in regard to the two latter of them.
"You have to distinguish between those who have done their homework and those who haven't. It's no conincidence that two of those, who didn't do their homework, are now injured. I mean Nordi Mukiele and Dayot Upamecano. They are not just insjured for a week, but in total for more than three weeks. And the way we exercise simple requires fitness," Rangnick told Bild.
Rangnick also called out Jean-Kevin Augustin for not keeping up his fitness level during the summer.
"Jean-Kevin Augustin has different physical requirements and is less prone to injury. But he didn't work as we agreed," he said.
