Javi Martinez hints at possible Bayern exit

With just one year left on his contract with Bayern München, Javi Martinez could be on the move at the end of the season.
Javi Martinez has admitted that his spell at Bayern München could be coming to an end this summer.

The 31-year-old has played just three minutes of Bundesliga football since the return of Germany's top flight.

And with Martinez's contract set to expire next year, it seems likely that Bayern will cash in on him this summer.

"I have to sit down and talk to Bayern. It expires in 2021. I'm ready for anything. What I have experienced here has been great," Martinez said in an interview with Marca, naming the United States, Australia and Spain as potential destinations.

"We have to wait because there is a lot of uncertainty. We don't know if there will be a market, if the Champions League will be played," he added.

Bayern paid €40 million to sign Martinez from Athletic Club back in 2012.
