Back injury keeps Serge Gnabry out of Bayern's DFB-Pokal clash with Frankfurt

Bayern München will have to manage without Serge Gnabry when they take on Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday.
Serge Gnabry will miss Bayern München's DFB-Pokal semi-final against Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday due to an injury.

The 24-year-old is struggling with a bruised back, the reigning German champions said after announcing their starting eleven for the game.

Ivan Perisic starts on the left-hand side in Gnabry's absence, with Bayern otherwise unchanged from the side that beat Bayer Leverkusen 4-2 on Saturday.

Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter has made four changes from the team that lost 0-2 to Mainz on Saturday, with David Abraham, Evan N'Dicka, Timothy Chandler and Mijat Gacinovic starting at the expense of Makoto Hasebe, the suspended Filip Kostic, Daichi Kamada and Bas Dost.

The game will kick off at 20.45 CET.
